Back in the good old 80īs life seemed to be a little more fun. The music was more fun,
the videogames were more fun and OF COURSE the movies were more fun. I set up this little
page to bring you back some of the 80īs feeling. So please donīt be upset. This page also deals
with WARGAMES, but it has a lot of other things to offer, too.
Watching WARGAMES always brings back some very nice memories of my childhood. I was born in 1975, so
I was more a child of the 80īs than an 80īs teen. I didnīt see WARGAMES in a movie theater, because I
was 8 years old, when they released it, but I saw it on TV one night in 1985 or 1986. I didnīt understand
the plot very well, but after that night is was "my movie". I really started to love it.

And David even played GALAGA. That really hit the spot for me, because GALAGA was "my game"
Itīs not possible
to go to an arcade in Germany when you are a kid, because you have to be 18 to enter.
The only possibility to play
arcade video games did show up on my holidays, when I went to Austria with my parents. The hotels there used to
have arcade machines in their cellars to entertain their guests.
And boy, they entertained me.
I spent many,
many, many hours playing Mr.DO!, Galaxian, Bomb Jack and of course GALAGA in these Austrian hotel cellars.
Well... Sometimes I wish I could turn back time and play games like Maniac Mansion, Zak Mc Kracken, Space Taxi and Boulder Dash for the
first time, again.
